1. My Classroom
Zhang Xiaohua from Class 14, Sungang Middle School
My classroom is very big and bright.
And it¡¦s clean, too. There are 45 desks and chairs in it. The
big desk in the front of the classroom is for our teachers.
There is a national flag above the blackboard. Five yellow stars
are on the red flag. There are two maps on the front wall. One
is a map of China, the other is a map of the world. Our country
is in the east of the world. Beijing is our capital and it lies
in the north of China.
2. An English Class
Ye Meiling from Class 14, Sungang Middle School
I am a middle-school student of
a national green school. My Chinese name is Ye Meiling. My English
name is Sally. We are having an English class now. We¡¦re learning
Unit 8. We¡¦re learning ¡§first, second and so on.¡¨ Our English
teacher is a handsome young man. He is in his thirties. He can
speak very good English. He teaches English very well. He¡¦s
helping us to remember the new words. We are standing up to
answer his questions. He¡¦s very kind to us. We all like him
very much. Without his help, we can¡¦t have made so much progress
in our English study.
3. Our School Library
Liang Guangyan from Class 14, Sungang Middle School
There¡¦s a large library with over
thirty thousand books and 80 computers in our school. Anyone
of our school can borrow three books at a time and keep them
for a months so that we can have enough time to read them. Most
of us love reading. Science books are the most popular, so they¡¦re
always in greet need. The latest novels are also very popular.
If a book has been borrowed, you can ask the librarian to keep
it for you when it¡¦s returned. In it you can also go on-line
to look for anything you need.
4. A Busy Day
Lan Yang from Class 14, Sungang Middle School
Last Sunday was a busy day for my
friends and me. We met outside the school gate early in the
morning, and then we took a bus to Grandpa Su¡¦s house. The gentleman
is quite old. He has no child. We went to help him with the
housework. First we cleaned the house. Then we worked very hard
in the garden. After that we sang some beautiful songs and danced
for Grandpa Su. He was happy. Though we were very tired that
day, we felt just as happy as Grandpa Su, too.

Dear Sir,
Three months ago, I bought a fridge at your store. It gave me
a very good service until last Saturday. But I¡¦m sorry to tell
you that there¡¦s something wrong with it now. A strange noise
comes out of the compressor and it doesn¡¦t work now. Would you
please send a technician to check it for me? Please dial 83534009
or 13662622739 and tell me when you will be able to come. I¡¦ll
be very glad if you can come at this weekend.
Thank you in advance.
Yours sincerely,
Miss Shen Kaishan
